Road network On most highways a toll ticket is obligatory. The roads in the west are allright as are the through roads in the east. But we have seen some very bad roads in the Bohemian Paradise and the Giant Mountains, with very deep potholes.
Prices in general In Prague, prices are getting to a West-European level, but outside the country prices are lower, sometimes even much lower. For a very simple bungalow on a campsite at Prague we paid € 29, while we saw 3-star hotels in the Giant mountains for less (a double room). For a cup of coffee and a large pint of beer we paid between € 2 and € 5 (in the more touristic areas in Prague).
The best in Ceska Republika (= Czech Republic) Prague is a beautiful city but we also liked the Bohemian Paradise and the Moravian karst, north of Brno, very much.
