Italy and Croatia travel account summer 2004

In the summer of 2004 we first went to Italy, drove all the way to the south and back along the Adriatic coast. After that we thought it would be nice to have a relaxing week in Croatia.

Italy (day 1 to 17)

The first drive towards Italy (we end up in Austria) Through the Alps and the Dolomites To Venice Via Verona to Florence Visiting Florence Cinque Terre, Pisa Sienna, after which all roads lead to Rome Walking through Rome Rome, to Vatican City from Rome to Pompei A fascinating walk through Pompei Into Calabria, southern Italy A short visit to Tropea, Calabria Another relaxing day at Briatico Through the Sila to the northern coast Along the Adritic to Fano The caves of Frasassi and a quick visit to San Marino

Croatia (day 18 to 25)
