Online puzzle of Sandsculptures: Marco Polo

In 2005 we visited the exhibition Egyptian sandsculptures and in 2007 the Italian sandsculptures. Every year one can admire another theme in Park Berg en Bos in Apeldoorn, Netherlands. This is Marco Polo, a Venetian trader and explorer who gained fame for his worldwide travels, recorded in the book Il Milione ('The Million' or The Travels of Marco Polo). Polo, together with his father Niccolò and his uncle Maffeo, was one of the first Westerners to travel the Silk Road to China (which he called Cathay, after the Khitan) and visit the Great Khan of the Mongol Empire, Kublai Khan (grandson of Genghis Khan).
By default the number of puzzle pieces is 100, but you can change that easily by clicking on Change cut in the menu. Have fun.
