Glen Affric, Inverness, our last night in Beauly
Today we stay in the neighbourhood. We have travelled almost 5000 kilometers through Scotland now and we want a few quiet last days. We will come here again. So in the morning we hang about a bit in Beauly and in Inveress.
In the afternoon we drive to Glen Affric for a long walk. At the end of the Glen, one can make short or long hikes in this wonderful area which leads to Loch Affric (the picture to the right is from a postcard).
It is not as busy as yesterday in the pub, but still crowded enough. Well, it is a saturday night, after all. When most people have left, we take some pictures of the pub.
After closing time we have to stay and talk, orders from the hotel owners, Iain (left) and Cathy (right). Well, we don't mind because we enjoy talking to them. We really feel at home in this place. But before we know, it is a few hours later.© Teije and Elisabeth 2000 - 2012
