In 2000 we both visit Scotland for the first time. It would be the start of a serious love affair with this country, because since then we return every year at least once!

To IJmuiden, by boat to Newcastle Arrival at Newcastle, trip to Strathyre To Beauly in the Highlands, Loch Ness Round Loch Ness, Urquhart castle Into the northern Highlands, Durness, Tongue Beauly, Glen Urquhart, Glen Affric From Beauly to Bielfeld (near Aberdeen) Aberdeenshire, Archeolink and Aberdeen Castle route to Kirkcaldy A visit to Edinburgh From east to west, Ayrshire, Barr Southwest Scotland, the Rhinn of Galloway Barr and it's neighbourhood Back to the centre of Scotland, Strathyre Oban, the west coast and Loch Lomond From Strathyre back to Beauly To Inverness To Plockton, the west coast, Eilean Donan castle Glen Affric, Inverness and our last night in Beauly Back to Strathyre Back to Newcastle Arrival at IJmuiden and back home
