Obelisk in Paris
The cartouches (ovals containing the name of the pharaoh) of Ramesses II who once built this obelisk. It is called the needle of Cleopatra but the obelisk has nothing to do with her. it is on the Place de la Concorde, where a guillotine stood during the French Revolution and more than 1,000 people were executed.
