Puzzle of The Athens temple in Delphi

The sanctuary of Athens Pronaia is slightly outside the oracle sanctuary of Delphi, but it does attract attention with the 3 columns of the tholos of Delphi. A tholos is a circular building with a domed roof and sometimes surrounded by columns. The columns that are still standing today have of course not survived all those centuries, but have been restored. Before the first excavations (end of the 19th century) a village was built over Delfi and later it was once again buried in mudslides
