Dunrobin Castle

There was already a castle here in the 13th century, but nothing is left of that period.
The castle looks beautiful and is well maintained. Most parts are build in the 19th century and we like the older, medieval castles better. We walked through the gardens and we liked them very much, but we didn't see the inside of the castle.

Inside the castle, which lies nicely on the seaside, is a museum with several Pictish symbol stones. And, off course, the castle is haunted!
