Dunstaffnage Castle Dunstaffnage CastleAt a very strategic place along the Firth of Lorn (near Oban) stands Dunstaffnage castle on a rock. It was build in the 13th century but became known as the place where Flora MacDonald has been imprisoned here after she had helped Bonnie Prince Charlie to escape out of Scotland in 1746.
