We also have a clickable castle map of Scotland where you can see which castles we visited!
Menzies Castle Menzies CastleMenzies is an impressive Z-shaped towerhouse from the 16th century (open to the public from April to the middle of October). The Menzies clan died out in the beginning of the 20th century and the castle later became property of the Menzies Clan Society. They started renovating the building since 1971. The castle looks very robust and we could see many people at work. But we couldn't come closer since it was closed.
More information about the castle on the website of the Menzies Clan Society.
